Kirkland Signature Take & Bake Pizza is back at Costco but it’s not like the previous version they sold years ago. This version has a Roman-style Pinsa crust, made from a combination of flours like wheat, rice, and soy along with a dried wheat sourdough starter. It definitely tastes different than the crust of Costco’s food court pizza.
The two varieties of Kirkland Signature Take & Bake Pizza available at my local Costco is combination and Margherita. The combo pizza has a San Marzano-style sauce with shredded cheese, onions, fire roasted peppers, Italian sausage, and slow-aged pepperoni, along with other ingredients. The Margherita pizza has a San Marzano-style sauce with shredded cheese, plus fresh mozzarella slices, slow-roasted tomatoes, and a basil pesto sauce, along with other ingredients.
I ended up purchasing the combo pizza because I was just in the mood for some meat on my pizza. And if it turned out to be delicious, then I would try the Margherita pizza next time. Well, I tried the combo pizza and was disappointed. The crust was hard and the veggie toppings were mushy. I did follow the instructions and baked it on the oven rack with a foil covered cookie sheet on the rack below to catch any droppings. For the price, I would rather pay $9.99 for the food court pizza and just sprinkle extra toppings on it at home.

I baked the pizza directly on the oven rack as the instructions directed and had a foil lined cookie sheet on the rack below to catch dripping cheese. I then used the foil lined cookie sheet to serve the cooked pizza.
