It’s back for the holidays! I spotted the Dilettante Chocolates Peppermint TruffleCremes at Costco this week. This is my favorite holiday candy. It’s a delicious mix of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and natural peppermint oil. For those with allergies, it does contain coconut, milk and soy. Each 24-ounce bag contains about 68 pieces and costs $8.99, which is approximately 50% off retail. Item #663324.

With school being in full swing, I’ve unfortunately neglected my garden quite a bit. I pretty much gave up on the cantaloupe and watermelon plants that I started from seeds. So, I can’t even tell you how excited I was when I was picking the last of the yellow pear tomatoes yesterday and actually saw 3 watermelon. They were hiding under some weeds outside of the designated melon patch. I’m hoping the watermelon will be good to eat in another week.
The most popular post this week is the Verilux HappyLight Liberty 7500 Energy Lamp. Costco brings this product in every fall and this newer version seems just like the previous one, in just a different box. This energy lamp features natural spectrum light which is comparable to daylight and may help fight fatigue and increase alertness. It’s on sale for $39.99, which is $10 off Costco’s regular price. The sale goes through October 18, 2015.
