4/10/15.
This is my weekly series that will keep you up to date on what’s new at Costco, what deals are ending soon and other good things.
This is the first weekend of the April Costco Coupon Book so expect it to be extremely busy. I went shopping Thursday and snagged some great deals from the coupon book. The belVita Biscuits make for a quick backup breakfast on those rushed mornings. After a few hours of shopping at Costco, I snacked on a Kellogg’s Special K Pastry Crisp on my drive home. At 14¢ per package of 2 pastry crisps, it’s a cheap snack with just 100 calories. Then there is the guilty pleasure of Spam. Ok, did I lose you? What I do is slice it, boil it for a minute and then pan fry it to mix things up at breakfast occasionally. I also purchased Checkups Dental Dog Treats and Beef Jerky Treats for my dog, Stewart. For prices on these items and other items on sale, check out my post on the Costco Coupon Book.
Costco is clearing out the Rhodes Dinner Rolls so grab them while you can. It comes 60 in a package for $7.69. That is 13¢ per roll. I used the whole bag to make a batch of garlic bread knots, honey butter rolls and bierocks. After all this deliciousness, I made a refreshing green smoothie for dessert.

For those of you shopping at the Covington, WA Costco, I spotted several clearance items. Le Sueur Sweet Whole Kernel Corn (12/11 0z) is down to $2.97. The Sunkist Twin Pack Strawberry Lemonade/Orange Citrus Liquid Drink Mix (2/18.9 oz) is clearance priced at $1.97!! To compare, one Crystal Light liquid drink mix is just 1.62 oz and costs around $3.50. The Sunkist Drink Mix does contain sugar cane but no HFC. Alas, it is not sugar-free, otherwise I would have snatched up that deal. For gluten-free folks, the Covington store is now stocking Barilla Gluten Free Penne Pasta (4/12 oz) for $5.99.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Have a great weekend!
