Costco has the Crazy Cuizine Korean BBQ Chicken 40 oz on sale for $4.89 (after manufacturer’s instant rebate), now through March 31, 2013. That is $4.10 off Costco’s regular price of $8.99. You can find it in the freezer section.
The Crazy Cuizine Korean BBQ Chicken is pretty easy to cook and only takes about 7 minutes to warm up in a frying pan. I did end up buying this product because it was so cheap and quick to cook on a busy night. The chicken breast is surprisingly moist. I’m not too crazy about the flavor of the sauce but for the price, it’ll do. I don’t imagine that I would pay full price for it, though. The sauce is spicy and the flavors that stand out are the red miso paste and the hot pepper paste. The next time I make it, I think I will add either sesame oil or some citrus and green onions to brighten up the flavors a bit.
